I have just returned from AC where I had my initial training while the stealth DVD was being recorded.

After Walt’s thorough instruction, I picked up the dice and threw Stealth for the first.

I had a roll that was in the teens. The throw was incredibly easy to learn and felt really natural.

Later that day I went to the TAJ. I used the stealth throw 8 times during the session. I had several hands in the teens and only one that was less than 6. That one was a 4. However, I was using PARR for the come out and threw 4 sevens before I established the point so I was not too disappointed.

I found that using PARR and the 5-2, 4-3 set for my come out roll and then switching to Stealth was very effective. I use that set for the come out because if I do not roll a 7, I frequently will roll an 8 or 9. I made at least 1 point every time I used the stealth throw.

I am very happy to have Stealth as another tool at the craps table.

Thanks Jerry, Walt and John for the great training session.

On Stealth, By Rick

I got my DVD Tuesday and it was just what the doctor ordered.

My parr throw was becoming inconsistent but was still very good.  But with Stealth it was nice to only have to concentrate on the throw in rhythm as opposed to parr where you have to concentrate on all 5 linchpins.  Dealing with the whole is easier than dealing with different parts.

I was so happy when Walt mentioned the word rhythm.  It’s just like shooting a foul shot or swinging a golf club.  Rhythm and tempo are the key.

I spent 3 days working on this technique and found myself really relaxed with this and also getting the feel of it.  Then I went to Mohegan Sun Saturday.  My 1st Hand was 11 throws, making 2 points.  Then my 2nd hand was 18 throws and Walt I took your "we will rock you" song a little further by singing it in my head all the way threw the roll.  I just kept the rhythm and tempo going in my head singing it as they were paying out the bets.  So I never broke my rhythm and tempo.  It really helped me a lot.  My last hand was 29 rolls.

Walked away after that hand and got a cup of coffee to count my winnings.  I find this method easier to perform because I’m more relaxed and have to concentrate on 1 thing only.

Thanks Walt for refreshing, rejuvenating and re-energizing me again.  -  -  -  Rick
